Eldritch Consulting Group (“we”, “us”) operates eldritchconsultinggroup.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it. The short version: we collect only what we need, we do not sell it, and we never will.
Information we collect
Contact form submissions
When you fill out our contact form, we receive your name, work email, company, role, areas of interest, and message. This is submitted to Netlify Forms and forwarded to our team. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry.
Newsletter sign-ups
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use it to send you updates about infrastructure, automation, and AI. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Analytics
We may use privacy-first web analytics (such as Plausible Analytics) to understand aggregate site usage — page views, referrers, and general geographic region. This data is anonymous and does not use cookies or fingerprinting. No personal data is collected by our analytics tools.
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically collects standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are retained according to Netlify’s own privacy policy and are used for security and performance monitoring.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- We do not use advertising tracking pixels (Meta, Google Ads, etc.).
- We do not share your data with third parties except as described above.
- We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.
Third-party services
We use the following third-party services to operate this site:
- Netlify — hosting and form submissions
- Contentful — blog content management
- Google Fonts — web font delivery (requests may log your IP)
- Plausible Analytics — anonymous, cookieless analytics (if enabled)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy that governs their data handling.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing us at sales@eldritchconsultinggroup.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and maintain business records, typically no longer than 2 years. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
