The short version
This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. We do not use cookies to identify you across sites, show you targeted ads, or build a profile of your behavior.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by external services we use). They can be “session cookies” (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent cookies” (stored until they expire or you delete them).
Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Our hosting provider (Netlify) may set technically necessary cookies to ensure the site functions correctly, for example to handle form submissions securely or manage load balancing. These cannot be disabled as they are essential to the site’s operation.
Analytics (if enabled)
If we use Plausible Analytics, it is configured in cookieless mode. Plausible does not use cookies and does not store any personal data. It measures aggregate traffic patterns only (page views, referrers, country-level geography). No consent banner is required because no personal data is processed.
No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not use cookies from advertising networks (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag). We do not use session replay tools, heat mapping tools, or any other technology that tracks individual user behavior across sessions.
Third-party services and their cookies
Some third-party services linked from or embedded in this site may set their own cookies:
- Google Fonts — We load web fonts from Google Fonts. Google may set cookies as part of this. You can opt out by using a browser extension that blocks Google Fonts requests.
- YouTube / Vimeo — If we embed any video content, the video provider may set cookies. We use privacy-enhanced embed modes where available.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View what cookies are stored and delete them individually or in bulk
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block third-party cookies entirely
- Set your browser to notify you when cookies are set
Deleting or blocking cookies may affect the functionality of some parts of the site. Because we use very few cookies, this is unlikely to significantly impact your experience.
